X2 Computing iTablet PC with Multitouch Introduced

UK Company, X2 Computing has introduced a new tablet PC which called X2 Computing iTablet PC. X2 Computing iTablet PC comes with multitouch screen that is offered in two screen size models, the 10-inch and 12-inch models.

Both models of X2 Computing iTablet PC are equipped with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB of hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, integrated 3G, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, three USB ports and optional HDMI port.

The X2 Computing offers iTablet PC in several color options, including white, grey, pink, blue, red, yellow and black.

The X2 Computing iTablet PC is expected to be available in April 2010.

Brother SV-70 e-Book Reader

Japanese printer maker, Brother launches the SV-70 e-book reader, following the Bluetooth-enabled SV-100B. The mobile e-book reading device features a large 9.8-inch electronic paper display with 1280×825 resolution, 100MB onboard memory and a microSD card slot. It supports 128Bit AES encryption.

Brother’s SV-70 has built-in lithium-ion battery for up to 83 hours of use. It has USB port for charging and connecting PC.

The Brother SV-70 will be released on 20 February for 99,980 Yen.

Timex Ironman Global Trainer – GPS-Ready Wristwatch

Timex is preparing its Ironman Global Trainer Bodylink system, which is a advanced wristwatch with integrated SiRF StarIII GPS technology measures pace, speed, distance and more in real-time, allowing athletes to measure, review and advance their performance.

The Global Trainer features a customizable display to show up to four windows of information, 20 workout memory with dated summary report, hands-free option that automatically starts and stops data capture, and the Multisport Event mode.

Timex’s Global Trainer, “The Ultimate Training Tool “, is recharged via USB. It is compatible with ANT+ wireless technology. The watch will be available in September 2010.

Sony dash Personal Internet Viewer

Sony announced the new dash personal Internet viewer, an internet device compatible with chumby apps. The dash features a 7-inch touchscreen and supports WiFi connectivity. It iffers free access to over 1000 apps from chumby and video content from Sony BRAVIA Internet videi platform.

Sony dash has accelerometer for vertical flip support and offers two optional viewing angles: upright, ideal for a table or nightstand; and tilted, perfect for a countertop. It has built-in stereo speakers and USB port for connecting other devices. The dash will be released in April for $199.

Dyson City DC26 Vacuum Cleaner launched

Dyson has launched its City DC26 Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner in the UK Market. It was designed for city dwellers who live in small apartments, The City cleaner was apparently born from a James Dyson challenge to his engineers to create a cylinder vacuum cleaner small enough to sit on an A4 piece of paper.

The Small Vacuum was first announced in Japan and now on the UK Market. Dyson is hoping for sales success for the small scale cleaner considering that according to its stats, over 90% of Brits are city dwellers with 2.3 million homes in the UK smaller than 50 square metres. It costs GBP249.99.

Energy Sistem introduces the TV2090 portable multimedia TV that has integrated DVB-T tuner and recorder. The portable TV can tune and record DVB-T programs and supports Timeshift function, Electronic Program Guide, teletext and subtitles.

The TV2090 has a 9-inch LCD display and supports playback of DivX, XviD, AVI, MPG video, MP3 WMA audio and JPEG, BMP, GIF images.In addition to a SDHC memory card slot, it has a USB port for connecting external storage. It has built-in rechargeable battery and stereo speakers.

Sony BRAVIA XBR-LX900 Series 3D HDTV

Sony announced its BRAVIA XBR-LX900 series 3D LCD HDTV at the CES 2010. The new LX900 series features integrated 3D functionality and Full HD 1920×1080p resolution. It comes in 60-inch (XBR-60LX900), 52-inch (XBR-52LX900), 46-inch (XBR-46LX900), and 40-inch (XBR-40LX900) screen sizes.

The BRAVIA LX900 sports OptiContrast panel, Edge LED backlight, Motionflow PRO 240Hz motion compensation technology, and BRAVIA Engine 3.  All models have integrated WiFi connectivity allowing users to access online streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand and over 25 total providers via Sony BRAVIA Internet Video platform. The LX900 does also media playback from USB and DLNA devices.

Primera announced the new LX900 color label printer that “incorporates the most advanced inkjet technology ever offered in a desktop label printer, called Primera Imaging Perfection.” The LX900 has a color droplet size of 4 pL and 5.5pL for black, which are the smallest available on an industrial-grade color label printer. It offers up to 4800dpi print resolution.

The Primera LX900 produce full-color labels at up to 4.5” per second in draft mode. Printed labels are water, scratch, smudge and tear-resistant and water-resistant paper labels are available in high-gloss, semi-gloss and matte finishes.
