Viliv N5 MID and S10 Blade Tablet PC Official

Viliv officially announced two new compact netbook/MID/UMPC, the N5 Go-Everywhere PC and the S10 Blade multitouch tablet PC. Both devices are based on Atom processor and can be equipped with support for HSPA, TD-SCDMA, EVDO, WiMAX 4G connectivity.

The Viliv N5 is a compact netbook with a 4.8-inch 1024×600 touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. It sports an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 32GB SSD for storage. It gets integrated GPS navigation, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and a microSD card slot.

Viliv’s S10 Blade, on the other hand, is a netbook tablet with a 10.1-inch swivel LCD display with 1366×768 resolution and multitouch. It is equipped with Atom Z530 1.6GHz or Z550 2GHz processor, 1GB of memory and up to 128GB SSD. The Blade has QWERTY keyboard as well. The battery allows up to 10 hours of use.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t and S10-3 Netbooks

Lenovo brings two new Pine Trail-powered IdeaPad netbooks, the S10-3 and the S10-3t multitouch capacitive convertible netbook tablet. Boosted by the new Intel Atom N450/N470 processor, these new netbooks is equipped with Intel GMA3150 integrated graphics, up to 2GB of RAM and up to 320GB hard drive.

Both S10-3t and S10-3 have 10.1-inch LED-backlit display. The screen of S10-3t is built with Lenovo NaturalTouch responsive fingertip touch screen technology and can swivel 180 degrees and fold over to transform into a touch tablet. They support Bluetooth and WiFi as well as optional WiMAX, WCDMA, CDMA2000, TS-SCDMA. New Samsung N220 Pine Trail Netbook Spotted

Samsung’s new Pine Trail Atom-powered netbook has been spotted at a French online retailer site. Known as the Samsung N220, the netbook is powered by Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and onboard Intel GMA3150 graphics.

The N220 gets a 10.1-inch LCD display. It supports Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. Other features include 0.3 Megapixel webcam, 250GB hard drive, and 6-cell battery that is enough for up to 11.5 hours of use.

MSI Wind U130 and U135 Atom N450 Netbooks

MSI has released details of two new netbooks that it will launch at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, the MSI Wind U130 and U135.

Cherrypal launches $99 Africa netbook

Cherrypal introduces the Africa netbook that is priced at just $99. The Africa features a 400MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 2GB flash memory. It has a 7-inch display and runs either Linux or Windows CE.
