Casio EXILIM EX-Z550 and EX-Z330 Compact Digital Cameras

Casio introduces two new EXILIM ZOOM compact digital cameras, the EX-Z550 and EX-Z330, replacing the EX-Z300 and EX-Z450. They are equipped with EXILIM Engine 5.0 and includes Face Detection, Intelligent AF and YouTube capture mode.

The Z550 is a 14.1 Megapixel camera with 4x optical zom, 26mm wide angle, CCD Shift Stabilization, ISO 3200 while the Z330 features 12.1 Megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom, Anti-shake DSP, ISO 1600. Both digicams have a 2.7-inch LCD display and supports 1280×720p HD movie recording.

Casio’s EX-Z550 and EX-Z330 features also the Dynamic Photo function that lets users edit and combine different moving images right on the camera.

Hello Kitty Casio EX-Z90 Limited Edition

To celebrate the 35th year anniversary for Hello Kitty, Casio brings the Hello Kitty limited edition EXILIM EX-Z90 camera (aka Hello Kitty Casio) to the Korean market. In fact, this is the second 35th anniversary Hello Kitty camera, the first one is the EX-Z2. There is also the Hello Kitty EX-Z80.

The Hello Kitty Casio comes in Pink and Red and is decorated with crystals. It comes with a Hello Kitty camera bag as well. Like the original EX-Z90, the compact camera has 12 Megapixel sensor, 3 optical zoom, ISO up to 1600, and a 2.7-inch LCD display.

The Hello Kitty Casio EX-Z90 is priced at 350,000 Korean Won.

Casio EXILIM EX-FH25 and EX-FC150 High Speed Cameras

Casio has recently introduced its latest superzoom cameras to its Exilim lineup to focus on low-light image quality.Casio Exilim EX-FH25 and Casio Exilim EX-FC150 compact both have backlit CMOS sensors borrowed from the Sony TX1 and can take in more light, improving the detail both for night scenes as well as portraits of backlit subjects.Both cameras accordingly have dedicated scene modes.The Casio Exilim EX-FH25 remains the flagship with 20X optical zoom and 10 megapixels, though it can drop to 9 megapixels to shoot at 40 frames per second, up from the FH20’s 7 frames.Both it and the 5X zoom FC150 can shoot 720p video and have hardware image stabilization.Casio’s first release plans have both cameras shipping to Japan on November 27th for estimated prices equivalent to $558 for the FH25 and $447 for the FC150.As the company already sells their predecessors in the US, an American release is likely for both but hasn’t been discussed.

Casio Exilim EX-FS10S Digital Camera Debuts in Japan

Casio unveils a new camera in the Japanese market but this is one image capturing device that should interest golfers even more. It does take photos and videos but the real deal here is that it can improve your golf game. How? The Casio Exilim EX-FS10S is armed with a software that analyzes your posture and helps by improving the placement of your elbows, arms or head. Along with that comes the striking features of the Casio Exilim EX-FS10S which include a 9.1 MP sensor, 31.9MB internal memory and 720p video recording at 30fps as well as a 3X optical zoom. The camera is only available in Japan.

Casio Exilim EX-Z280 Compact Digicam

Casio Europe have just announced the twelve-megapixel Casio Exilim EX-Z280 digital compact camera with a 26-104 mm equivalent zoom lens and CCD-shift image stabilisation. The Casio EX-Z280 also offers face detection, complemented by a “make-up” function, an AF tracking function that can remember faces and resume tracking them even if the subject leaves the frame and then reappears, and HD movie recording at 1280×720 pixels.
