Panasonic HDC-HS60, HDC-TM55 and HDC-SD60 Camcorders

Panasonic unveiled three new compact Full HD camcorders, the HDC-HS60, HDC-TM55 and HDC-SD60. All of them have a 35.7mm wide angle lens with 25x optical zoom, extendable to 35x Intelligent Zoom.
These Full HD camcorders, like Panasonic’s new cameras, feature the iA (Intelligent Auto) that includes Face Recognition, AF/AE Tracking, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Contrast Control, Face Detection and POWER O.I.S. The HDC-HS60 has a 120GB hard drive while the HDC-TM55 gets 8GB internal flash memory. All three models support SD/SDHC and the new SDXC memory cards.
Other common features include touchscreen operation, Wind Noise Canceller, Eco Mode and VIERA Link. They all come in black.

Samsung HMX-S15 and HMX-S16 Camcorders

Samsung launched its S-series of camcorders at the CES 2010. Three units are available in the S-series including the HMX-S15 and HMX-S16 that are the world’s first camcorders to have integrated Wi Fi and DLNA connectivity and the Samsung HMX-S10 with no WiFi.
Both WiFi capable camcorders, the HMX-S15 and HMX-S16 features the 1/2.3 inch BSI (Back Side Illumination) CMOS imaging sensor that offers outstanding low-light performance, a Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan-HD lens with Samsung’s 18x Intelli Zoom and a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a 3D UI. They both are capable of snapping 10 megapixel photos and record full HD video in 368×208 at 300fps or 192×112 at 600fps.
The HMX-S15 and HMX-S16 comes with 32GB and 64GB SSD respecitvely plus there is a SD/SDHC memory card slot, the Samsung HMX-S10 has all the features of both above but has no Wifi or interanl SSD storage.

Samsung HMX-H200, HMX-H203, HMX-H204 nd HMX-H205 Full HD Camcorders

Samsung presents for new H-series Full HD camcorders at the CES 2010, including HMX-H200, HMX-203, HMX-H204 and HMX-H205. All these camcorders feature a 37mm wide angle lens with 20x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch swiveling, touchscreen LCD display.

In addition to recording Full HD 1080p videos, Samsung’s new camcorders can also capture 4.7 Megapixel still images. They have the Smart Auto mode that select scene mode automatically. These camcorders utilizes SSD technology. The HMX-203 gets 8GB SSD, HMX-H204 has 16GB and HMX-H205 comes with 32GB. The HMX-H200 lacks internal SSD. All models support SD/SDHC memory cards.
The new H-series Full HD camcorders are available in multiple colors and will be available for pre-order over at Amazon where the Samsung HMX-H200 goes for $399.99, Samsung HMX-H204 for $499.99 and the Samsung HMX-H205 for $599.99.

Sony Handycam HDR-AX2000 Full HD Camcorder

Sony introduces the Handycam HDR-AX2000 Full HD Camcorder to its consumers. The device comes with 1/3-inch Exmor CMOS Sensors with Exmor derived technology and the capability to record 1920×1080/60i HD video at up to 24Mbps with progressive scan at 1080/24p and 30p.
There is a 3.2-inch LCD display for previewing images and videos, a 29.5mm Wide-Angle to 590mm Telephoto G-Lens with 20x zoom, a 0.45-inch electronic viewfinder, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode and support for Memory Stick PRO Duo and SDHC storage cards.

Sony NXCAM HXR-NX5U Professional AVCHD Camcorder

Sony adds the new professional AVCHD camcorder to its NXCAM family of video products for professionals. The camcorder features the Exmor CMOS image sensor with ClearVid array for low light sensitivity with low noise and a 29.5mm Wide-Angle to 590mm Telephoto G-Lens with 20x optical zoom.
The Sony HXR-NX5U records 1920×1080p Full HD video in AVCHD format at up to 24Mbps. It also does 720/60p video recording and include built-in GPS function. The prosumer camcorder offers Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode and three built-in neutral density filters for adjusting the amount of light entering the image sensor. Both HD-SDI and HDMI outputs are included and there is a 3.2-inch LCD display and a 0.45-inch Xtra Fine LCD electronic viewfiner.

Kodak PlaySport Pocket Waterproof Full HD Camcorder

Kodak introduces a new pocket-sized Full HD camcorder called the PlaySport. The video camera captures Full HD 1080p video at 30fps and caotures 5 Megapixel still images. It features a 2-inch LCD display with LCD Glare Shield, electronic image stabilization, smart face tracking technology, and HDMI output.
Kodak’s PlaySport is waterproof up to 3 meters. It supports SD/SDHC card up to 32GB, which is enough for 10 hours of HD video. The PlaySport will be available in Abyss (black), Wave Crash (blue) and Adrenaline Rush (purple) for US $149.95 begining in April 2010.

Sanyo announced at the CES 2010 its ultra compact and slim VPC-CS1 Full HD Xacti dual camera. This new Xacti features a 3.4 Megapixel image sensor, a 9x optical zoom lens, 10x digital zoom, digital image stabilizer, and ISO 50-1600.
