Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Notebook

Apart from launching the Skylight Smartbook, Lenovo also made a statement at the CES when they rolled out the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Notebook. The IdeaPad U1 Notebook features a unique, all new PC form factor, there is a 11.6-inch LED multitouch display which can be removed and used as an independent slate tablet.
The clamshell device basically combines a Tablet and a Notebook into one with each device having its own processor. The Notebook boast an Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor with Windows 7 while the tablet slate is powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon processor and runs Lenovo’s customized Skylight Linux OS. Other specs includes a integrated webcam, 3G connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid will be available on 1 June 2010 for $999.1. It has a fashionable scarlet red exterior.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t and S10-3 Netbooks

Lenovo brings two new Pine Trail-powered IdeaPad netbooks, the S10-3 and the S10-3t multitouch capacitive convertible netbook tablet. Boosted by the new Intel Atom N450/N470 processor, these new netbooks is equipped with Intel GMA3150 integrated graphics, up to 2GB of RAM and up to 320GB hard drive.
Both S10-3t and S10-3 have 10.1-inch LED-backlit display. The screen of S10-3t is built with Lenovo NaturalTouch responsive fingertip touch screen technology and can swivel 180 degrees and fold over to transform into a touch tablet. They support Bluetooth and WiFi as well as optional WiMAX, WCDMA, CDMA2000, TS-SCDMA. You can also expect a 1.3 Megapixel wbecam, stereo speakers with Dolby Headphone certification, and 6-in-1 card reader. Other features include Maplife1 location-based mapping software, VeriFace face recognition and Active Protection System to protect the PC hard drive from sudden bumps or falls.
Lenovo’s IdeaPad S10-3t and S10-3 are available beginning in January 2010. The starting priceis $349.99 for the IdeaPad S10-3 and $499.99 for the S10-3t. [Product Here]
