New Pentax Optio I-10 and H90 Digital Cameras

Pentax launches the new slim and stylish Optio I-10 that has a design inspired by the classic look of film SLR cameras and the Optio H90 with a clean, contemporary design. Both cameras have a 12.1 Megapixel CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide angle and 2.7-inch LCD display.
Pentax’s new digicams are able to capture 720p HD video at 30fps. They feature Face Detection, Smile Capture, Blink Detection and improved Pixel Track Shake Reduction technology. The Optio I-10 includes also mechanical sensor shift Shake Reduction system and Face Detection that spots up to 32 faces including dogs and cats. The I-10 comes in Classic Black and Pearl White for $299.95 while the H90 in Orange-Silver, Matte Black and Ceramic White for $179.95.
Also introduced is the Pentax Optio E90 digital camera, successor of E80, with 10 Megapixel CCD, 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD, and ISO 6400. It uses AA battery. The E90 will be available in Black and Wine Red and cost just $99.9.

Pentax’s Limited Edition Korejanai K-x

Pentax introduces in Japan the K-x Korejanai limited edition digital SLR camera. The Korejanai K-x has the same color scheme as the Korejanai series handmade toys. It will come with a matching smc PENTAX-DA L 18-55mm F3.5-5.6AL lens.
Pentax’s K-x is a 12.4 Megapixel DSLR with 720p HD video recording and Live View. It offers 200-6400 ISO, sensor-shift Shake Reduction, and a 2.7-inch LCD. The Pentax K-x Korejanai edition is available in just 100 units and will be available for order on 2 November in Japan for 79800 Yen.

Pentax Optio M85 Digital Camera

After the K-x freshly announced, Pentax has also announced its new ultra-compact digital camera, the Optio M85, which offers a 12-megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom with a lens of 32-96mm, the Digital Image Stabilization SR, sensitivity up to ISO 6400, a screen of 3″ with a resolution of 230K points, face recognition, video recording in 720p at 15fps, a SD / SDHC port, all in only 19mm thick for 128g. Pentax Optio WS80 Waterproof Digicam

You would think that Pentax Imaging would have shipped its new palm-sized Optio WS80 waterproof digital camera in time for Summer vacation, but no, this durable and “dunkable” camera won’t be available until September, for $249.95. It comes in black with orange accents, or white with purple accents, and features a 10 megapixel CCD, a 5X internal optical zoom lens, and a 2.7 inch LCD with 230,000 dot resolution. The Optio W80 has a waterproof design that can withstand depths up to five feet (1.5 meters), and it captures underwater photos and as well as 720p HD video at 30 frames per second.
