Sony Ericsson Elm and Hazel GreenHeart Phones Announced

Sony Ericsson adds to its GreenHeart eco-friendly mobile phone portfolio two new devices, the Elm and the Hazel, and the VH700 Bluetooth headset. The Elm candybar and the Hazel slider both have 5 Megapixerl auto focus camera with face detection and geotagging, Bluetooth, built-in media player with MEGA BASS, A-GPS and WiFi.
Sony Ericsson’s Hazel gets a 2.6-inch 240×320 LCD display while the Elm has a 2.2-inch display. They have up to 280MB internal memory and offer a microSD card. In addition to quad-band GSM, these eco phones support HSPA networks as well. The former comes in Superior Black and Passionate Rouge and the latter in Metal Black and Pearly Rose.
Also introduced is the VH700 Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree. Comes in Black, Silver/White, Red/White and Pink/White, Sony Ericsson’s VH700 has a clip-on design and supports Bluetooth 2.1. The Elm will be released in Q1 and the Hazel in Q2 along with the VH700.

Samsung Shark S5350, S5550 and S3550 Mobile Phones

Samsung announced its new Shark range of sleek, tactile mobile phones, including the candy bar Shark S5350 and slider Shark 2 S5550 and Shark 3 S3550. These phones are budget-priced devices with rich multimedia feature and Social Networking Services (SNS) access.
The Samsung Shark S5350 has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera while the Shark 2 S5550 has a 2.2-inch AMOLED display and a 5 Megapixel display. They both support dual-band HSDPA 3.5G and quadband GSM/EDGE networks, Bluetooth 2.1 and feature100MB internal memory and a microSD card slot. These two Sharks have integrated FM tuner and supports playback of MP3, AAC, WMA audio and MPEG4, H.263, H.264 video. They are equipped with Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe).
The Samsung Shark 3 S3550 lacks 3G support. It has a 2 Megapixel camera, 2-inch display, Bluetooth, 35MB memory, microSD card slot, FM tuner and built-in media player.

Kyocera Laylo and Domino For MetroPCS

Kyocera announced the availability of both the Laylo and Domino via MetroPCS. They are affordable handsets and the handsets will be launched by MetroPCS, which is a favorite carrier for people who dislike the expensive signed contracts. The Laylo is a slider phone that opens to revel a vanity mirror and features a soft-touch exterior. It has a 2.2-inch display, a 1.3-megapixel camera and supports Bluetooth 2.0. Users can surf the web thanks to a WAP 2.0 browser, and the device runs on BREW 3.1.5. Kyocera Domino made in candybar and witty at the same platform as the Laylo. Nokia introduces 6700 slide and 7230 Slider Phones

Nokia has come forth today to show us two new sliders that are targeted towards those looking for cheaper handsets with a decent amount of functionality: the 6700 and 7230.
The Nokia 6700 will feature a 2.2-inch display, 5 MP camera with dual LED flash, 2.2-inch display, HSDPA/HSUPA, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio and microSD slot all powered by Symbian. This device is expected to reail for EUR 160 or about $239.
On the other hand we have the Nokia 7230 which features a 2.4-inch display, 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth, microSD slot and FM radio, also powered by Symbian. Despite its higher model number it will actually be priced significantly less at EUR 100 or about $149.

The 6316s is a 3G multimedia device with music, imaging, web browsing and GPS. The stainless-steel slider also has an elegant design and comes equipped with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 2.0 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1. It comes in black, gold and red.
Nokia 3806
Nokia’s second CDMA phone, the 3806 comes with similar features: 2.2-inch QVGA display, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth 2.1 and a card slot for extra storage of up to 4GB. It’s available in piano black, pure white and rose gold.
Nokia 1506
